Contaminated oil is drawn into the cleaner using a vacuum.
Before the oil enters the reactor chamber, it will be heated to approx. 50 ° C (122 ° F). Extensive testing has shown that this is an ideal temperature for most hydraulic fluids, and allows maximum water recovery without destroying the physical properties of the fluid. The temperature can be adjusted both higher and lower to accommodate a wide range of fluid properties. In addition, air mixes into the hot oil, attracting the moisture trapped in the oil as it enters the reactor chamber. By subjecting the water-contaminated oil to vacuum, the water and gas are converted to saturated steam, leaving the reactor column in the upper region. The purified oil is then collected at the bottom and pumped back to the reservoir.
SH 2000 BENEFITS:
Maintaining a hydraulic system fluid unit will increase the life of the critical wear components, and reduce system downtime.
