Example of operating process for hydraulic power units
When a hydraulic power unit starts to operate, the pump draws hydraulic fluid out of the tank and moves it into, for example, an accumulator. This process continues until the pressure in the accumulator reaches a predetermined level, at which point a charging valve switches the pumping action to start circulating fluid. This causes the pump to release fluid through a charging valve back into the tank at minimum pressure. A special one-way valve prevents fluid from flowing out of the accumulator, but if the pressure drops significantly, the charging valve is reactivated and the accumulator is filled with fluid. Further down the line, a reduced pressure valve regulates the flow of oil moving to the actuators.
If the accumulator is equipped with a high-speed unit, it can be connected to several accumulators so that they can also recharge pressure.Often an automatic thermostat or cooling fan will be included to reduce temperatures. If the fluid in the system starts to overheat, a temperature switch can shut off the motor pump, which can also help to refill the tank if the fluid level is too low. If the hydraulic power unit has multiple motor pumps, a flow switch can make them alternate in the event of reduced fluid supply.Pressure switches can be used to regulate accumulator pressure and a monitoring system can alert operators when the pressure has dropped too low, increasing the risk of failure of the power unit.
We produce hydraulic units for the needs of different operations. Our engineers calculate the power that must be applied to a system in order for the desired operation to be performed. It can be operation and operation of hydraulic crane, lifting cylinders, traction operations or other.
